I have a lot of stuff to post from when my brother was here. It was way too fun, but not only that, it was artistic!
Well, it’s Valentine’s Day. Lisa was told to bring something “Valentine-themed” to her art class (to draw in pastels). When I left to babysit the jazzschool an hour before the class started, she hadn’t thought of anything. Within the next hour inspiration struck, and she made one of the sweetest creations you’ve ever seen. It’s whimsical, it’s wonderful, and it drew all kinds of compliments from everyone in her class, and me when I got home. I’m dying to post a photo of it, but I’ll let her do it. Probably in an upcoming issue of On A Whim.
Me, I take photos of kitties.
Between fitful bursts of work, I (and Lisa) have managed to go outside occasionally. Here’s proof:
I love digital cameras. The size and the reusability of the film make all shutterbuggy inhibitions go away. Snap snap snap!
Lisa and I are making quite a team building sites. We just released Lis’s new site a couple days ago. It’s amazing how much easier things are when I have Lisa to help me. A real artist will do that to your work.
Blowout just did a demo a few days ago, so I should be putting up a mini-site for that project soon, including mp3s of the demo. Look forward to it.
