We spent a time afternoon and evening in the company of new friends today. Not completely new friends, but people I’ve only spent time with maybe two or three times before tonight, and never for quite as long. We talked, played cards, ate tasty food and a lot of cookies, and generally had an entirely too-fun and too-wholesome good time.
I also had the dubious honor of restoring their computer to more or less working condition. Fixing up a Windows computer is not something I’m especially good at, but I knew enough to be helpful. I just hope that playing Skip-Bo (aka Cat and Mouse, aka Spite and Malice) while messing with the computer doesn’t lead to ill effects down the road for them.
