Yes, it’s true. I’m not Joe The Plumber, made briefly famous by last night’s debate. I still haven’t watched the debate because of a recording session and rehearsal last night, but thanks to the CBS podcast of the debates, I’ll be able to watch it later.
McCain apparently was enjoying talking about Obama raising taxes on this guy, so if you’re curious what actually happened when Joe and Barack met, you can watch the video. It’s five minutes, and looking at how Obama handles the question, and of course his actual answer, it makes me even surer that he’s the right choice.
I’m fully expecting whoever wins the election to disappoint me, because that’s just how it goes (no president can be all things to all people), but I just can’t shake the feeling that Obama can be more things to more people than anyone, certainly more so than McCain.
