:: New Residence ::

Today we finished moving the big stuff into our new apartment. Now begins the process of going through everything, unpacking, putting furniture back together, hoping our mattress doesn’t unravel completely, finding all the little things that inevitably got misplaced, returning the books belonging to the owner of the van we borrowed (taken accidentally), and so on.

The city we now live in, Evanston, is just over the northern border of Chicago, a hop skip and jump. We feel a bit of removed from the city, in both a good and bad sense. We’re quite close to the lake now, a mere two blocks, and I took a break from working the other day to snap a few pictures of the area. I’m in the process of redoing the photo gallery — I think everything should work, but if something’s acting funny, don’t worry.

Also, Go Sox! Just like I said last year, only this time for my local Sox instead of the Sox of my youth. One down, three to go.
